An advertising in the newspaper for Optimist lessons... It was somehow by chance that Chloé Le Bars began sailing at 7 years old. If this was first her hobby, she quickly got hooked on sailing and decided to compete. From dinghies to Laser boats, Chloé spent more and more time on the water, nurturing her passion for sailing. After a few years in Match Racing, the young woman felt the need to have her own project and took part in the first Ocean Selection in 2019, ultimately won by Élodie Bonafous. As she was willing to pursue offshore racing, Chloe embarked on the Mini Transat,which she completed in 29th place, before joining the Ocean Challenge in 2021. Better prepared and more experienced, Chloé distinguished herself from the competitors and finished first !
